4 Apples (Granny Smiths work best)
About 1/2 cup brown sugar
Cinnamon to taste
Nutmeg to taste
Ground ginger and cloves (optional)
Splash of vanilla
Peal, core and cut apples into chunks. Put into a pot and cover, cook on medium heat. Cook till mushy stirring every couple minues. Add sugar, spices and vanilla.
